Dramaversionen im Vergleich

In vorherigen Beiträgen haben wir öfters erwähnt, dass manche Dramen in verschiedenen Versionen existieren. Das häufigste Beispiel hierfür war bisher „Boys over flowers“, das zuerst als Manga entstanden ist, dann als Anime und dann als Drama. Es sind zu viele Versionen, um diese hier aufzuzählen, aber die Zahl beträgt mehr als 10 😊 

Wir wollen aber natürlich über „Hana Yori Dango“ (wie „Boys over Flowers“ auf Japanisch heißt) hinausgehen und euch mehrere Dramen vorstellen, von denen es bereits mindestens zwei verschiedene Versionen gibt. Meistens handelt es sich dabei um chinesische, japanische, koreanische und thailändische Versionen. In einigen Fällen haben es die Dramen sogar in andere Regionen geschafft, z.B. ist die US-Serie „ The Good Doctor“ ein Remake eines koreanischen Dramas. 

Warum glaubt ihr sind diese Dramen so beliebt? Was macht sie aus? Wünscht ihr euch irgendein Drama in eurer eigenen Sprache? Welche habt ihr schon in den verschiedenen Varianten geguckt? 

Wir stellen euch die folgenden Dramaversionen vor und fangen mit den bekanntesten an. Vielleicht entdeckt ihr auch ein Drama, das ihr noch gar nicht kanntet! Euch wird auch auffallen, dass es sich tatsächlich meist um Romcoms handelt 😊 

In earlier blogs articles, we mentioned a few times that there are a lot of dramas which have more than one version. The one example we´ve mentioned the most is “Boys over Flowers” - in this case there was a manga first, followed by an anime and finally that material was adapted into more than 10 different versions. 

Of course we want to introduce you to more than just "Hana yori Dango" ( the Japanese title of “Boys over Flowers”). There are a lot of dramas with at least two different adaptations. Most of the time those versions are Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Taiwanese or Thai. 

Some of them even became famous in the “West”. One example of an US remake of a Korean drama is “The Good Doctor”. 

 Why do you think those dramas are such huge hits? What makes them different? Do you wish to see one of those in your own language? Which one have you already watched in all of its adaptations? 

We will introduce some of those drama adaptations, starting with the most famous ones. Maybe you´ll even discover a drama that you don´t know yet! 

We don´t have any preferences about the genres of these dramas, but you will certainly notice that most of them are romcoms.

In diesen beiden Fällen gab es vorher Filme und Webtoons, auf Chinesisch - im Anschluss ein koreanisches Drama ("So I married the antifan") und ein chinesisches Drama ("Love 020"). Haltet Ausschau nach unseren Beiträgen in den nächsten Wochen, denn wir schreiben noch Reviews zu „Antifan“! 

For the last two cases, movies and webtoons were the original source material. "So I married the antifan" was first a Chinese movie and then became a Korean drama, and "Love 020" was a Chinese movie that got turned into a C-Drama.
