Koyangi stellt vor: Matsumoto Jun

Unsere „Koyangi stellt vor“-Reihe startet dieses Jahr mit einem Beitrag zum japanischen Supertalent Matsumoto Jun an! Kommt euch der Name bekannt vor? MatsuJun, wie er gerne von seinen Fans genannt wird, ist nicht nur in Ostasien ein Star, sondern auch im Ausland und dort insbesondere den Fans ostasiatischer Produktionen bekannt. 

松本 潤, Matsumoto Jun, ist am 30ten August 1983 in Tokyo geboren. Er ist hauptsächlich als Schauspieler und Sänger tätig, aber ist parallel noch Moderator (Radio und Fernsehen) und Model. Dadurch ist sein Gesicht wirklich sehr präsent in den japanischen Medien. 
 
Genauso wie es in Südkorea riesige Talent Agenturen gibt (HYBE, SM Entertainment, JYP, usw.), die sich um die diversesten Künstler kümmern, gibt es in Japan

Johnny & Associates. Zu diesem Unternehmen schreiben wir im Februar einen eigenen Beitrag, denn es hat grundlegend zur Geschichte des J-Pops und der J-Dramen beigetragen. 
 
MatsuJun ist Johnny & Associates als Teenager beigetreten und hatte bereits 1999 als Sänger und Tänzer der Gruppe Arashi (嵐, bedeutet auf Japanisch „Sturm“- denn sie sollen „die Welt erstürmen“) sein Debut. Arashi gibt es immer noch und die Gruppe ist, zusammen mit anderen aus dieser Zeit, wie z.B. SMAP Teil der ersten Generation der J-Pop Gruppen. 
 
Als Schauspieler dürfte Matsujun den meisten durch Hana Yori Dango bekannt sein. Wir stellen euch aber über dieses tolle Drama hinaus ein paar seiner wichtigsten Produktionen vor! Our “Koyangi presents” series enters 2022 with a post on Japanese super talent Matsumoto Jun! Does the name sound familiar? It should! Because MatsuJun, as his fans like to call him, is not only a star in East Asia but also abroad, where he is particularly well known to fans of East Asian productions. 

 
松本 潤, Matsumoto Jun, was born on August 30, 1983 in Tokyo. Although he is mainly active as an actor and singer, he also works as a presenter (both in radio and television) and model. Because of that, he is frequently present in Japanese media. 

Comparable to the huge talent agencies in South Korea (HYBE, SM Entertainment, JYP, etc.) that manage all sorts of artists, there is Johnny & Associates in Japan. We'll write a separate post about this company in February, because it has had from the start a massive influence on the appearance and growth of J-Pop and J-Dramas. 

MatsuJun first joined Johnny & Associates when he was a teenager and made his debut back in 1999 as a singer and dancer with Arashi (嵐, meaning "storm" in Japanese - because they should "storm the world"). Arashi is still active and, along with others from that era such as SMAP, part of the first generation of J-pop groups.

As an actor, Matsujun is probably best known for Hana Yori Dango. In addition to this great drama, we will introduce you to a few of his most important productions!

Wie in Japan üblich hat Matsumoto Jun auch bei Theaterstücken (japanische Versionen) beigewirkt, z.B. 2004 West Side Story und 2005 East of Eden. 
 
Als Fans japanischer Werbungen, dürfen auch natürlich diese in einem Beitrag zu japanischer Kultur nicht fehlen. MatsuJun taucht in vielen auf. Unter anderem war er in Clips für Bandai, Nintendo, Meiji Seika, Kikkoman und Hitachi zu sehen .

It is common for Japanese actors to also act in plays - and so has Matsumoto Jun. For instance, he appeared in the Japanese versions of West Side Story (2004) and East of Eden (2005).
